Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in America is an actor, producer, writer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) and Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003) A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her film roles. Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher, and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello was a student of political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. Bello admitted in November of 2013 that she had an same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, her former partner. She released a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Unpacking the Labels We Give ourself. (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
