 KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her starring role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The show ended on August 13, 2012, following the completion of the seventh season.
