Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 as well as White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed press secretary for President Obama's election campaign. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State.  There was speculation Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to serve as communications director. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
